PAUL LITTLEFIELD
EDNA OFFICE
Paul was born and raised in Jackson County. Upon his graduation from Industrial High School in Vanderbilt, Paul pursued a degree in Industrial Technology from Southwest Texas University in San Marcos. He married Debbie Moseley Littlefield a year before they completed their degrees. After graduating, both Paul and Debbie taught school in the Austin area. Paul taught manufacturing and building trades. After teaching for two years, Paul had an opportunity to return to Jackson County and farm the 200 acres of rice his dad had farmed for thirty-three years. Over the next 26 years, Paul and his wife expanded the operation to include 2000 acres of corn, grain sorghum, cotton, soybeans and pasture. During that time, Paul ran a trucking business, built grain storage for his farm, managed cattle, and raised three daughters. In addition to taking care of the farm books, his wife Debbie taught school for 20 years. With all of his daughters well on their way to finishing college, Paul decided that the time was right for him to pursue other career interests.
Over the past ten or fifteen years, one of Paul's goals has been to find someone who would market his crops. In looking for a new career endeavor, he was approached with the opportunity to join Southwest Agribusiness Consulting. Paul comments that "I'm really pleased to be a part of an organization whose goal is to help farmers in a way I had looked for myself." When he is not working, Paul has several hobbies. He enjoys riding dirt bikes, fishing, and hunting. In addition, his entire family has always enjoyed water skiing, and snow skiing. Paul and his wife Debbie reside in rural Jackson County near the community of Edna, Texas. If you have any questions for Paul, he can be reached at:
