KARA SAHA
CALDWELL OFFICE Kara was born in Bay City, Texas and raised in Buckeye; she is the youngest of three siblings. Kara grew up working on the family farm and ranch, where they grow rice, milo, cotton, soybeans, corn and cattle. Through her school years, Kara participated in many organizations such as 4-H, FFA, Matagorda County Junior Fair Board, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Family Career and Community Leaders of America. Although actively involved in several groups, Kara's main hobbies included showing steers, scrapbooking and hunting. After graduating from Tidehaven High School in 2005, Kara moved to Corpus Christi and enrolled as a freshman at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. In the fall of 2007 Kara transferred to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. At SHSU Kara was actively involved in the Collegiate FFA, the National Agricultural Honor Society of Delta Tau Alpha (DTA), the International Honour Society of Golden Key and was selected to be published in the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges book. Kara's agricultural knowledge expanded greatly through her collegiate experiences, especially from her participation in DTA. Kara served as secretary of DTA for one year, attended two out of state national conventions, and helped to organize her final convention, which was hosted by her college chapter. Kara graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Secondary Education. Kara joined the Southwest Agribusiness Consulting, Inc. in October 2010. Her primary responsibility is managing our software that tracks customer sales and trade activity.
