INFORMATION RESOURCES

We feel that it is important to provide educational resources to our customers to foster a better understanding of our marketing plan objectives. We accomplish this by using numerous ways to relate important information in a timely way. Here is listing of some of the information resources that we provide:

Southwest Agribusiness Consulting Newsletter: The Big Letter is an informal newsletter published by our staff and used to communicate changes in our marketing plan goals and discuss relevant issues affecting our industry.

Hurley and Associates Newsletter: The Farmers Edge is published monthly and summarizes important information from the monthly USDA Supply and Demand report. This newsletter is also used to impart the Hurley and Associates philosophy and highlight significant issues related to agricultural commodity marketing.

Joe Kropf and Sid Love Consulting Services: Each day, we receive livestock commentary for the feeder, fat, boxed beef, and hog markets. These comments are provided by the Hurley and Associates program and relate cash and futures activity, and provide general recommendation for protecting price risks. We make these comments available to our customers with email access.

Giles Enterprises Cattle Advisory: The Friday Cattle Roundup is an email correspondence from Kelly Giles that our customers receive each week. This commentary summarizes key issues facing the cattle trade, and provides general guidelines for addressing these issues.

FC Stone Research: Each day, our staff receives a wealth of market information and advisory from professional commodity research staff. This information is used to assist us in facilitating our marketing plan goals.
