BRENT SEIDENBERGER
CANYON OFFICE

Brent was raised on his family's cotton farm near the small town of Garden City in West Texas. Growing up, he spent his spare time assisting with daily management and production operations on the farm. Brent partnered with his brother to own and operate a small integrated pest management company during the summers in high school. His interest in the agriculture industry led him to Texas A&M University, where he earned a degree in Agricultural Systems Management.

Brent furthered his cotton industry experience by taking an engineering position with a cotton gin equipment manufacturing company in Lubbock. There he designed specialty products for cotton gins throughout the South Plains of Texas. Brent returned to College Station to work with an agriculture consulting company that specialized in crop insurance development. Brent worked closely with farmers, ranchers, and other industry specialists to conduct feasibility studies on current insurance programs, and research and develop new crop insurance programs for the USDA.

Brent's interest in working directly with producers in an attempt to help them maximize their profitability led him to his current position. Initially working out of the Caldwell office led to an opportunity to move west with the goal of expanding Southwest Agribusiness Consulting's efforts in the High Plains region of Texas. Brent now works with individual producers throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado to develop and execute detailed marketing plans. Brent is a licensed Series 3 Commodity Broker and also holds his Series 30 Branch Manager license. In addition, he is a member of the Texas Farm Bureau, the Canyon Chamber of Commerce, and is active in his local church. Brent lives in Canyon with his wife Tommi, son Samuel, and daughter Sadie.
