BARBARA McCUTCHEON
EDNA OFFICE

Barbara was born and raised in Jackson County and currently resides in Victoria. She graduated from Edna High School and attended Victoria College. She has 2 daughters and 5 wonderful grandchildren. She brings with her a wealth of experience about farm programs since she was employed with the USDA/Farm Service Agency for 15 years (serving 7 years in Jackson County and 8 years in DeWitt County). She resigned her position with the FSA in January of 2005 to pursue a career in the crop insurance industry. She currently works with Matlock & Associates Crop Insurance Agency in Edna as a licensed insurance agent.

Barbara joined our staff in mid-February of 2006 to pursue her desire to see more producers take advantage of available computer technology when participating in government farm programs. She will continue to introduce and assist with the establishment of e-Gov accounts for all customers as we transition to internet-based FSA programs. She monitors any program changes and legislation that will be of importance/benefit to our customers and includes this information in her update portion of the Big Letter.

Barbara has gained a good basic knowledge of the marketing strategies and is glad to be of assistance in any way. She looks forward to continuing her service with Southwest Agribusiness Consulting and assisting each of our customers in the most convenient and efficient methods available.
